Medical disclaimer
Last updated October 5, 2026
Orforglipron Canada publishes general information about orforglipron and its US brand, Foundayo. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and reading it does not create any relationship between you and us.
Orforglipron is not approved in Canada
As of the date on this page, Health Canada has not issued a Notice of Compliance for orforglipron. That means no Canadian pharmacy can legally dispense it and no Canadian prescriber can write a prescription for it in the usual way. Our approval timeline tracks where the Canadian submissions stand. Nothing here is a recommendation to obtain or use a medicine that Health Canada has not authorised.
Talk to someone who knows your history
Whether a GLP-1 medicine suits you depends on your health, your other medicines and your goals. A family physician, nurse practitioner or pharmacist in your province can weigh those things. We cannot. If you are taking any medicine now, do not stop or change it because of something you read here.
If you think you are having a serious reaction to a medicine, contact a doctor or call 911. To report a side effect in Canada, use Health Canada's Canada Vigilance program.
How current is this information?
Regulatory status, trial results and prices change. Each article shows the date its content last changed, and each page lists its sources so you can check them yourself. Treat anything older than a few weeks as a starting point for a conversation with a clinician, not as the final word. Our editorial policy explains how we source and review what we publish.
