Editorial policy

Orforglipron Canada answers one question as accurately as we can: where does orforglipron, sold in the United States as Foundayo, stand for people in Canada? The pages are written by the Orforglipron Canada editorial team. This page sets out the rules we work to, so you can judge the rest of the site against them.
Who writes the site
Every article carries the byline of the editorial team. We are researchers and writers, not prescribers, and we do not give individual medical advice. Pages that make clinical claims are sent to a licensed Canadian pharmacist for review (see below), and the reviewer's name appears on the page only once that review is done.
Where our information comes from
We rank sources, and every page lists the ones it relied on, with dates and links.
- Regulators first. Health Canada records, such as the list of submissions under review, decide what we say about Canadian status. The FDA label and review documents decide what we say about US approval.
- Peer-reviewed journals next. Where a trial is published in a journal like The New England Journal of Medicine or The Lancet, we quote the journal's figures rather than a press release.
- Company statements, clearly labelled. Eli Lilly's releases are reliable on dates and doses but promotional in tone. When a number comes only from Lilly, the page says so.
- Reimbursement bodies. Canada's Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) and the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance for anything about public coverage and price negotiation.
We do not cite forums, social media, compounding pharmacies or sellers as sources of fact. News coverage is used only to point us at an original document, which we then read and cite directly.
Dates on everything
Each article shows when its content last changed. Each step on the approval timeline has its own date and its own source. A step that has not happened carries no date, even when someone has predicted one. If a forecast is worth mentioning, we name who made it and say it is a forecast.
Medical review
Pages that discuss side effects, dosing or comparisons with other medicines need a review by a licensed Canadian pharmacist. Until that happens, the page shows no review credit at all. We think an unreviewed page is acceptable and an unreviewed page wearing a reviewer's badge is not. When a review is complete, the reviewer's name, credential and review date appear together on the page and in its structured data.
What we will not publish
- A Canadian approval date or Canadian price that no regulator or manufacturer has published.
- Links to, or the names of, anyone selling orforglipron without a Canadian authorisation, including online pharmacies and "research chemical" sites.
- Instructions for importing, compounding or self-dosing a medicine Health Canada has not approved.
- A medical review credit for a page a qualified reviewer has not read.
Independence and funding
Orforglipron Canada has no affiliation with Eli Lilly and Company or any other drug maker and takes no money from them. We sell nothing, run no paid placements and carry no affiliate links. Foundayo is a trademark of Eli Lilly and Company and is named here only to identify the product.
Corrections
When a regulator, a journal or Lilly publishes something that changes a fact here, we update the page and its date. If we simply got something wrong, we fix it and note what changed. Read how we handle prices in our pricing methodology, and what this site can and cannot do for you in our medical disclaimer.
